Are you kidding me? We paid rent for THIS dump?

A day in the life... of a frat boy. Produced by my son, a college-going kid majoring in television and video. I was feeling all warm and fuzzy, and proud of his editing skills: look at what he can do with a videocam! Isn't his friend Blaise a stitch? Way to sync the music with the story!

But after the third or fourth viewing, I was like...

Have you EVER seen such a disgusting place to live?

It's no wonder he's living at home again with us. Food's better, and in this house we don't wipe our butts with torn up newspapers. Especially not The Wall Street Journal. Fer cryin' out loud!

Good Lord, your husband doesn't put his hands in people's mouths, does he? Just goes to show, it's a good thing we don't know so very much about our friends and neighbors! :-)

Maybe, just maybe, they worked on it just a bit... you know, messed it up a bit for effect.

Yeah, I know... I had the keys to my sons apartment one time to go feed his kitten while he worked a long shift.

It was so horrible....horrible... every crack and crevice just awful.

I found all the cleaning supplies and equipement just as I had given it to him months before... untouched.

He called me the next morning near hysterics... that his apartment had been robbed while he was at work.... no wait there it is..wait....Mom, you cleaned.

Yup, looks like my sons place before he got married. I don't know how they can do that.

My son's apartment was amazing. They had glued beer cans to the ceilings, thrown the dining table over the balcony and moved all the rest of the furniture out into the front yard. It was beyond words. It took the four of them, their 8 parents and assorted siblings about 4 hours to clean it up enough to get the security deposit after graduation.
